Founder of Gurukulam

Late Kumaran Vaidyan, our founder was born in 1938 in a small village named Kariyad in Cochin, Kerala. He has inherited knowledge about Ayurveda from his ancestors. He travelled across Kerala for the promotion of Ayurveda. As a first step he began a Vaidyasala (Clinic) with limited facilities.

After a few years,he gained much popularity in the society as an eminent physician. So he extended the existing Vaidyasala and included a treatment center and training center too . Now this institution has developed to become one of the most leading  training  centers in Kerala  where the tradition of Ayurveda is interwoven within the culture.

Now the institution comprises well qualified Ayurvedic Physicians and Therapists who are ready for giving their best to the society for keeping up their tradition.
