Ayurvedic Cookery

Ayurveda course offered in Ayurveda Gurukulam

Ayurvedic Nutrition and cooking places an emphasis on food that ground the soul, nourish the body and delight the senses.

Duration:6 days - 5 hours per day, 6 days per week (30 hours)

Curriculum

  • Definition of Health
  • The importance of digestion and how to maintain the balanced digestive system.
  • Cooking for 5 senses and 6 tastes
  • Preparing simple, nutritious and sensually gratifying meals
  • Action & qualities of spices in Ayurvedic cooking
  • Cooking demos of different dishes which suitable for different body type

Academic Facility

On hand training will also give to each students for their practice. Study materials for theory and practical sessions, DVD for the demonstrations, Starter kit-Medicines, Equipment, Sunday side scenes, Guidance for Shopping ,Internet, WiFi, etc are provided for the students.Students should be provided with a certificate issued by Ayurveda Gurukulam after the successful completion of the course.
